Detailed Itinerary

Your 6-Day Adventure

Day 1

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport & Transfer to Hotel

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your professional driver-guide and transferred to your hotel near Lake Victoria. Enjoy a detailed safari briefing covering wildlife expectations, park activities, and travel logistics. Relax and prepare for your Uganda wildlife adventure.

Day 2

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park & Rhino Tracking

After early breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest and most famous wildlife reserve. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for guided rhino tracking on foot, offering close encounters with Uganda's only wild rhinos. Continue to Murchison Falls and visit the Top of the Falls where the Nile River squeezes through a narrow 7-meter gorge, creating one of Africa's most powerful waterfalls. Evening relaxation at your mid-range safari lodge overlooking the savannah.

Day 3

Game Drive & Nile Boat Safari

Begin the day with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile. Spot elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, hyenas, and various antelope species across the vast savannah plains. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls. Witness hippos, Nile crocodiles, and diverse birdlife including African fish eagles. Return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 4

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park via scenic countryside, tea plantations, and crater lakes in western Uganda. Arrive in the afternoon and check into your mid-range safari lodge. Optional evening game drive depending on arrival time.

Day 5

Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Start with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, known for lions, elephants, buffaloes, and Uganda kobs. The park offers spectacular views of the Rwenzori Mountains in the background. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, one of the best wildlife viewing experiences in Africa. Expect close sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants along the shoreline, and hundreds of bird species.

Day 6

Chimpanzee Tracking & Return to Entebbe

After breakfast, head to Kyambura Gorge for guided chimpanzee tracking. Explore the lush tropical forest in search of habituated chimpanzee families and learn about primate conservation. After the trek, begin your return journey to Entebbe with a stop at the Equator for photography and souvenir shopping. Drop-off at Entebbe International Airport or hotel.
